Are you experienced in warehouse operations with a keen interest in IT systems?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a logistics client for a hands-on Warehouse Systems Support Technician to join their on-site team in Wolverhampton.
You’ll act as the key support for SAP EWM and IT systems on the warehouse floor – combining first-line troubleshooting with system investigations and hardware support. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of warehouse operations who enjoys getting involved in technical problem-solving.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting SAP EWM and investigating system errors
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues (PCs, barcode scanners, etc.)
- Liaising with the IT team for repairs, installations, and upgrades
- Assisting with system data updates and changeovers
- Supporting control boards and escalating issues appropriately
- Helping with user testing and small-scale system fixes
What we’re looking for:
- A background in logistics or warehouse operations
- Experience or exposure to SAP EWM (or other WMS systems)
- Good IT troubleshooting skills (hardware and basic software)
- Comfortable using Excel and reporting system downtime/issues
- Organised, calm under pressure, and proactive
