Technical Engineer Location: Sheffield, UK – Hybrid Type: Subcontract – 12 Months Mandatory: Bash/Shell Scripting CentOS, RedHat, SUSE, Ubuntu, Oracle Linux Administration Nice to Have: ~ Oracle Linux Administration Technical Expertise Required: Proficiency in Linux RHEL and Cluster environments (VCS Infoscale) Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, and Puppet Solid understanding of VMware Virtualization (Hypervisor) Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, port management, firewalls Experience with MuleSoft and Postman API development and integration with Ansible Playbooks What You’ll Bring: Extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux in regulated financial environments Ability to collaborate with application and infrastructure teams Translate business requirements into technical solutions Proactive problem-solving and customer satisfaction mindset Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills Apply with your up-to-date CV in English.
