MERJE has partnered with a leading multi-strategy investment firm and we’re on the lookout for a talented Compliance Officer join their London team. This role supports a team of two experienced Compliance specialists and will focussed on helping them establish a robust EMEA Legal and Compliance platform as the company continues to grow. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance monitoring program Code of ethics/personal account dealing monitoring Market abuse trade surveillance Support compliance framework for new products and markets Senior Managers and Certification Regime compliance Oversee MiFID 2 research Best execution monitoring Qualifications: 5-7 years of relevant compliance experience, ideally gained in a buy-side firm Strong understanding of UK and EU regulatory requirements (including FCA Handbook rules, particularly relating to MiFID 2 requirements) Undergraduate degree with relevant certifications (e.g., CISI, CFA, FRM) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills Proactive and thrives in a complex, dynamic environment Exercises sound commercial judgement Team player with strong ethical standards and high integrity Please note, should feedback not be received within 28 days due to the large volume of applications, unfortunately, your application has b…
