Job Opportunity: IT Support Engineer Location: Southampton, Hampshire (Office Based) Salary: Up to £35,000 Are you an IT professional ready to take on a challenging role in a fast-paced environment? Our client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide essential 1st and 2nd line support across their business. You’ll work with a mix of hardware, software, and systems, keeping things running smoothly and helping us deliver top-quality supply chain services across the UK and Europe. What You’ll Be Doing Resolving IT issues quickly and efficiently, both onsite and remotely, using a ticketing system to track progress. Managing and troubleshooting hardware, PCs, printers, and scanners. Administering Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Active Directory. Proactively monitoring systems to spot and resolve issues before they affect users. Supporting key business tools like Blue Yonder, MintSoft, and Intersoft. Working with external vendors and escalating issues when necessary. Sharing knowledge and updating internal resources to help the team succeed. What You’ll Need Must-Have Skills: Experience in IT support, with strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Service Desk or ticketing systems. Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Active Directory. Confidence in hardware setup and troubleshooting. Strong communication skills—you can explain technical issues in plain language. Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with warehouse or order management systems like Blue Yonder or MintSoft. Knowledge of tools like Intune, Power BI, or scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
