Contracts Manager – Refurbishment (Social Housing, Education, Healthcare) – London & Southeast – Up to £80k plus package Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to oversee refurbishment projects for an established contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background across social housing, education and healthcare refurbishment schemes. My client are looking for someone who has experience manging multiple projects concurrently and is able to travel between various sites across London and the Southeast. This position involves a mix of office-based work and site visits, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities * Manage multiple refurbishment projects concurrently across Social Housing, Education and Healthcare. * Oversee internal works e.g. kitchen and bathroom upgrades, internal decorations, FRA works. * Oversee external works e.g. window and door upgrades, cladding replacement, roofing repairs and replacements, external decorations. * Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. * Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. * Oversee project management activities related to contract execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. * Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them. * Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation in the office. Experience * Proven experience managing multiple refurbishment schemes concurrently * Portfolio of successful refurbishment projects spanning across social housing, education and healthcare. * Longevity with a current or recent employer operating within the refurbishment and maintenance spaces of the construction industry. * Strong contractual knowledge. * Manages client and stakeholder expectations and ensures satisfactory outcomes through consistent communication. * Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel. * Procurement and Supply Chain Management. * Building Services Knowledge.
