Pro Education are recruiting for a Deaf Inclusion Worker to join an amazing Private School in the Teignmouth region of Devon. This fantastic opportunity is a Permanent Part Time position offering an hourly rate of £16.27ph, some of the benefits include parking, free lunch meals as well as other perks. It is working Monday 8am-5pm and Tuesdays 8am-4pm. The day to day task for Deaf and Inclusion Worker this role includes: –          Delivering the KS3 and KS4 curriculum using a combination of English and full BSL –          Adapting the lesson materials to meet the needs of the pupil. –          Managing the use of the Assisted Listening Devices on a daily basis and encourage student independence in managing their processor equipment. –          Providing BSL and/or cued speech interpreting services during classes and other events. –          Enabling effective communication between deaf students and all stake holders# To be successful for the Deaf Inclusion Worker role, must have: –          Level 3 BSL qualification. –          Level 2 cued speech qualification.
