DevOps Engineer – AWS Birmingham – 3 days/week We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale public sector digital transformation program. You’ll be part of a high-performing team, helping to drive automation, improve cloud infrastructure, and enable continuous delivery across development and operations. Design, implement and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure Automate system configuration with tools like Terraform, Vagrant, and scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell) Implement system monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and AlertManager Configure and support infrastructure tools like Nginx, Squid Proxy (with mTLS), LDAP, SMTP/IMAP servers Drive best practices in DevOps, security, and agile delivery AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, etc.) Jenkins, Git, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow Linux (Amazon Linux 2023), Docker Monitoring: Web: Nginx, Squid Proxy This role offers the chance to work on meaningful, large-scale projects using modern cloud and automation technologies.
