Hybrid Arrangement
The work will be split between the Uxbridge Moor site adjacent to Iver substation and our head offices at Kentish Town. The requirement is to be in the KT office or Site 3-4 days per week. We will provide some flexible working by allowing 1-2 days working from home but subject to project requirements.
The job role involves but is not limited to:
- Leading the design of a 400/132kV GiS substation scope of works
- Preferable but not essential acting as the LCDAE (NG requirements of lead contractor design assurance engineer)
- Lead a team of design managers and design coordinators
- Coordinate interfaces between disciplines
- Lead and attend meetings, ensuring robust minutes capture
- Provide progress updates
- Manage design budgets and programme
- Report to functional and project delivery managers progress
- Input into commercial activities - EW's, CEN's, PMI's and be accountable for change management
- Manage decision, assumption and change logs
- Take responsibility for hazards and risks and lead on hazard reviews
- Accountable for team performance and development
