Technical Assessment Engineer United Kingdom £Competitive plus pension scheme, flexible working options, and company car allowance The Role: Due to expansion in our sister company TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS), a brand new role has opened for a Technical Assessment Engineer to work with the Head of Notified Body. The Technical Assessment Engineer will focus on desktop technical evaluations of pressure systems. You will conduct compliance assessments, reviewing technical documentation, and validating designs according to PED, PSSR, and relevant standards. This is an office based role requiring technical expertise in pressure system certification and design. You will: Review and assess technical documentation, including design drawings, calculations, and material certificates and ensure designs comply with PED, PSSR, and other relevant standards and directives. Liaise with clients, project managers and conformity assessors ensuring documentation is complete and meets regulation standards. Issue technical reports and certificates of conformity (UKCA or CE) based on desktop assessments as well as provide technical support and guidance on regulatory compliance and best practices to both clients and internal teams.
