Your new company This logistics company provides logistics services including road and rail transport, warehousing, and terminal management across Scotland and has been established for a number of years and works with some very prestigious clients in the industry. The Company provides integrated third-party logistics solutions including bonded and non-bonded warehousing and supply chain management to a number of blue-chip customers across Scotland and England. Your new role This role is ideally suited to an individual with a keen interest in transport and distribution who can demonstrate a proven record of effective and efficient transport planning within a national busy fleet operation. As a planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive first class service while maintaining cost effectiveness. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our national fleet, making a real impact every day. Providing quick and efficient service to their customers across the business. Oversee day to day fleet planning and prioritising workload and plan routes for our three biggest customers. Daily driver brief and de-brief and track tachographs to maintain safety and regulatory standards. Liaising with sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to streamline operations.
