Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, theres a kids club for the little ones and a workspace. As the countryside companion to Maison Estelle, the manor is also a hosted home, bringing people together that have plenty to say and nothing to prove.

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will support the growth of our people by designing and delivering effective learning experiences that drive performance and engagement.

Do you have 23 years of experience in an L&D Consultant or Specialist Trainer role, confidently managing the full learning cyclefrom scoping to delivery and evaluation? Do you have a strong track record of facilitating impactful learning sessions for groups of 1530 people, encouraging discussion and engagement?

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will support the growth of our people by designing and delivering effective learning experiences that drive performance and engagement. Youll build strong relationships across all levels of the business, confidently engaging with senior leaders and team members alike. Whether facilitating group sessions or coaching individuals, youll bring clarity, structure, and a thoughtful approach to every interaction.

Youll stay up to date with evolving L&D trends, continuously looking for ways to improve our learning offer. In a fast-paced environment, youll manage multiple priorities with a calm and solutions-focused mindset. Youll be confident using data to inform your decisions, and comfortable having honest conversations when neededalways with professionalism and empathy.

Please note this role will be fully on site at our Oxfordshire site.

As a Learning & Development Specialist youll:

  • You build strong, trusting relationships across all levels and are confident in influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Youre a lifelong learner whos passionate about developmentboth your own and othersand stay curious about emerging trends in L&D.
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and emotional intelligence skills; you\’re warm, approachable, patient, and genuinely curious.
  • Youre comfortable leading a room, facilitating discussions, and delivering engaging sessions to groups of varying sizes.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, able to balance competing priorities with a can-do attitude and strong organisational skills.
  • Youre confident navigating difficult conversations and resolving conflict with professionalism and empathy.
  • You have strong attention to detail and enjoy working with dataanalysing feedback, tracking progress, and reporting on outcomes.

Who we are looking for:

  • 23 years of experience in an L&D Consultant or Specialist Trainer role, confidently managing the full learning cyclefrom scoping to delivery and evaluation.
  • A strong track record of facilitating impactful learning sessions for groups of 1530 people, encouraging discussion and engagement.
  • Experience balancing regular training delivery with project-based work and administrative responsibilities.
  • A proven ability to support and coach leaders in developing their teams and fostering high performance.
  • Confidence in communicating and ensuring alignment with policies and procedures.
  • Practical experience managing Learning Management Systems and coordinating with external providers.
  • Familiarity with early careers programmes (e.g., graduate schemes, apprenticeships, industrial placements) is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
