Job overview
As Maintenance Team Leader you will oversee the day to day engineering/maintenance of your hotel and ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and team members making sure all activities are delivered safely and meet compliance keeping the hotel always looking their best.
Duties and responsibilities
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
Communicate with to chief engineer any major issues to stay informed of maintenance needs and ensure timely responses to requests.
Helpguestsneeds to ensuretheir satisfaction
Use a maintenance programme to ensure the hotel is maintained and in service for our guests
Help with the physical operations of the hotel, including maintenance and repair and order parts and supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste and maintaining green initiatives
Ad-hoc duties unexpected moments when wehave topull together to get a task done
Carry out small electrical works
High level of building skill, including, painting, plaster, carpentry, decorating, with electrical bias.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Ability to lead by example and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Experience with Opera highly desirable.
Shift patterns and weekend work.
To schedule and follow preventative planned maintenance to the highest level.
Knowledge of plant rooms and air conditioning desirable.
Great team player, ability to build strong relationships with all other departments.
Professional approach with high grooming standards.
