An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated H&S Coordinator within the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring all company operations align with the current health, safety, environment and quality standards. Client Details Our client is a well-established firm, operating in the FMCG industry. The company is known for its commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety within the engineering and manufacturing department. Description Develop and implement H&S policies and programs. Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures. Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation. Initiate and organise H&S training of employees and executives. Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions. Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims. Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.Profile Proven experience as a H&S Officer or similar role. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment. Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of SHEQ MS and databases. Excellent organisational and motivational skills.
