About the role The Streetspace Principal Engineer will take the lead in developing, reviewing, designing, consulting, and delivering a range of schemes to promote walking, cycling, and bus priority, reduce congestion, and improve road safety. The schemes will include School Streets, strategic cycle routes, traffic signal works, bus lanes, and measures to reduce traffic congestion and improve road safety. The Streetspace team includes 3 permanent and 3 fixed-term contract (FTC) vacancies that will work on a range of schemes to promote walking, cycling, and bus priority, reduce congestion, and improve road safety.
