Mechanical Fitter/Technician Aberdeen A leading engineering business is currently recruiting for a Fitter/Technician to join their team on a Permanent basis. The Fitter will ensure all work is undertaken in a cost effective manner, identifying areas of improvement to reduce the cost to the company whilst maintaining quality. You will be involved in; * Dismantle and record dimensional findings and detailing any faults * Liaising with Technical quality team to advise of repair requirements * Repair of components e.g.; fitting and pinning wear rings, bush, pressure testing and dynamic balancing * Assembly of basic pump types in line with the inspection report and work instructions * Compiling reports as required in line with company procedures and processes * Support a safe and tidy working environment You will have; * Previous experience assembling and inspecting rotating equipment such as Pumps/Motors/Generators * C&G minimum qualification in Mechanical Engineering * You will be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and good attention to detail. * Good knowledge of health and safety requirements The role is working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (overtime is available). This is Permanent role which offers salary £43,226 plus opportunity for overtime.
