The main objective of this role is to develop new water network capabilities and support future remote control opportunities. This role will also aid in the continuous evolution of alarm management, ERWAN, and production planning, while ensuring energy costs are managed efficiently. Additionally, it involves establishing new ways of working and promoting the team to colleagues across UU.

Job Accountabilities

  • Ensure optimal network performance by monitoring assets and their actual performance against predefined targets.

  • Create performance reports to support network management improvements.

  • Detect actual events or potential incidents (proactive, preventative, and reactive) that could impact the efficiency and performance of the regional water network.

  • Serve as a key liaison with the Duty Manager to ensure swift escalation and involvement of relevant expertise when events occur.

  • Enhance event recognition systems for better user experience.

  • Influence Capex/Opex spending within Water Services by driving a more proactive and planned approach to fieldwork.
