United Utilities is looking for 4 new Talent Acquisition Partners to join our growing Talent Acquisition Team.
Reporting into the Head of Talent Acquisition, this role will support the business to meet the challenges of the current marketplace and help UU take big steps forward in how we recruit. You will be the main point of contact for all hiring manager communication and will ensure the success of each recruitment campaign under your remit

United Utilities are entering a new investment cycle as of April so as a Talent Acquisition team we need to be ready to support and uplift in vacancy volume and be ready to present creative solutions to the business when it comes to talent attraction and assessment.
We are busy and still establishing ourselves as a new team so you will need to be agile and resilient and be able to clearly communicate to business stakeholders so they are clear o our new service delivery model. As a TA Partner you will be aligned to one of the directorates within the business and support with all hiring, some of the key responsibilities and highlights are:

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process recruiting for positions across the business; responsibilities include; advisory and role briefing session with the manager, creating a suitable sourcing and talent attraction strategy aimed at passive and active candidates, advising managers on candidate suitability, designing a suitable interview and assessment framework with the manager.

Work with the business to identify current and future skillset requirements to build robust talent pools.

Working in an agile way, having regular meetings with hiring managers to assess performance of recruitment campaigns and pivot where needed.

Mentor and coach a Recruiter providing opportunities for development.

Be an advocator of promoting and driving inclusion and diversity in talent acquisition and work with hiring managers to create diverse candidate pipeline.

Create and develop networks both in person and online to build suitable candidate pipelines and support the UU Employer Brand.

Work with the Head of TA to develop an appealing EVP and input into the Employer Brand proposition.

Providing MI and data to clients on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and quality of the information.
To be considered for the role you must have:

Significant prior experience recruiting for roles ideally working in an inhouse environment is essential.

Experienced, confident and proactive Talent Acquisition professional with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Self-starter with a great work ethic and collaborative mentality.

Demonstrated ability to tell the company’s story in a way that speaks to a job seeker’s motivation, career goals, and interests.

Clear understanding of and skill in the use of a broad range of recruitment tools and services including Web-based services; search consultants

Experience and knowledge of utilising and advising on different assessment tools and methodologies.

Experience of working with and influencing recruiting managers at all levels as well as third party agencies to ensure that our process is compliant and within legislative guidelines.
