An exciting job opportunity for an Associate Geotechnical Engineer with our client, an award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy that has been delivering high-quality engineering solutions for over 60 years. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our civil and structural engineering teams to provide innovative geotechnical solutions.
- Leverage your expertise in Plaxis and Wallap software to drive project success.
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficient in the design of foundations (ULS and SLS), ground improvement, earthworks, and soil retaining structures/ground reinforcement.
- Experienced in the assessment of settlement and slopes using specialist analytical geotechnical software.
- Skilled in the preparation of technically accurate interpretive GIR's, GDR's, and GFR's.
- Adept at managing and checking the work of less experienced staff.
- Demonstrated experience in costing and quoting for professional services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience within the ground engineering sector.
- Proven track record in leading projects and representing your company in Design Team Meetings.
- Sound commercial and contractual judgement.
