A fantastic organisation based i Birmingham City Centre is looking for an individual with all round Events Coordination skills for a contract opportunity within the business as an Events and Marketing Assistant. Within this role you will be working within a sociable, forward thinking and innovative Marketing team and must be happy to adapt to a changing environment and varied responsibilities. Alongside elements of Events support you will also be responsible for the Membership Coordination function. Your responsibilities will include: Management of the events calendar including sourcing venues and suppliers, coordinating budgets, and administering project work Support to the Marketing team involving some elements of diary management, travel bookings and email management Coordination of meetings including minute taking and following up on action points Assistance in the membership process such as database management, research projects, and event engagement Management of the marketing plan for the business including writing and producing of the monthly newsletter and adding to the website Candidates will ideally have an events degree (or equivalent) and have prior corporate events experience mixed with solid Marketing and Membership experience.
