An opportunity is open within our team for an enthusiastic Technical Support and Audio/Visual (A/V) Engineer to install, maintain, and support interactive solutions and hardware at our offices, client sales centres, and events across London, the UK, and overseas.
Our interactive software runs on touchscreens, tablets, and large format media walls, integrating with architectural model lighting systems and other devices for seamless presentations.
The Role
As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll work across teams, handling a mix of technical support, IT and A/V installations, management and installation of exhibition rental equipment, and system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain client and in-house systems to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide first-line technical support, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Install, update, and maintain Tekuchis interactive software remotely and on-site.
- Set up and maintenance of touchscreens, network hardware, architectural lighting controllers, and A/V equipment.
- Liaise with client IT teams to ensure optimal network infrastructure for our systems.
- Assist with in-house IT infrastructure maintenance and organisation of rental equipment.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Installing, configuring, maintaining, and administering operating systems, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows, a decent familiarity of Linux, and generally comfortable in the command line environment.
- Management of users, groups, file permissions, and file sharing.
- Practical experience of specifying and installation of networking equipment (TCP/IP, Firewall, DHCP, VPN, NAT, DNS).
- Basic scripting (batch, PowerShell, Bash, etc).
- IT support/helpdesk experience, remote support, troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Experience in maintaining computer hardware components and building computers.
- Ability to create network diagrams, service records and documentation.

Details
Please note that this role is primarily office-based if not out visiting client sites or supporting exhibitions. Remote work can be possible, but only on occasion.
Salary: Β£30-40k depending on skills and experience.
