Chiller Engineer opportunity available with our client, a leading global manufacturer of a range of HVAC equipment including Chillers, Air Handling Units, Heat Pumps, and Ventilation systems. The opportunity comes with a salary of up to £43k, with door-to-door travel, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), private healthcare, and additional earning through overtime and a lead generation scheme.
Our client has been a major player in the cooling sector for over 50 years, and employs over 3,000 people worldwide. They are focused on manufacturing, installing, and maintaining indoor environment solutions for commercial applications in settings such as hospitals, schools, and data centres.
The Chiller Engineer role will involve completing servicing and maintenance on a range of cooling equipment, mainly chillers, AHU's, heat pumps, and air conditioning units. Candidates based in the West Midlands, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, and Northamptonshire will be considered for this role.
Chiller Engineer Job Requirements
- F-GAS qualification essential
- City & Guild Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Strong background in the servicing and maintenance of HVAC equipment such as VRV's, VRF's, and AHU's
- Previous experience maintaining air or water chillers, with significant experience highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence
Chiller Engineer Salary & Benefits
- Salary £38,000 - £43,000, depending on experience
- Company vehicle, with optional personal use
- Door to door travel pay
- 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
- Overtime starting at 1.5x, and rising to 2x
- Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (40-hour week)
- 1 in 6 call out rota, with a retainer fee paid and overtime/door to door paid for any call outs
- Private healthcare (after probation)
- Additional earnings and commission available through a lead generation scheme (full details available upon request).
