Winner Recruitment are currently working with a Service provider who focus on hard services within the Facilities management sector across Commercial & Retail sectors. They are looking to recruit for a Supervisor who will be working a hybrid of on and off the tools managing a team of engineers covering sites across Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Swindon, & Exeter. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards. This is a great opportunity to take a step into the path of becoming a Contract Manager.
Duties:
- Perform the day-to-day management of a team of 8 engineers covering multiple sites across Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham, Swindon and Exeter.
- Responsible for the allocation of work to engineers and managing the engineers' workflow.
- Be the go-to for escalating any issues and providing technical advice.
- Ensure sites are compliant and health and safety is adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that all engineers are hitting KPI/SLA.
- This role is predominantly off the tools but would sometimes involve having to support engineers on the tools.
Candidate:
- Must hold relevant qualifications within Electrical installations or Mechanical Qualifications.
- Experience in Electrical & mechanical assets such as Power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, air conditioning and chillers.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fault find issues effectively.
- A good general experience in working in occupied premises.
- Clear communicator both oral and written.
- A customer focused approach.
