Company Details

Supplier and Manufacturer of bespoke enclosures for generators. Manufacture acoustic, Switch gear and UPS enclosures. Supply to the Healthcare, Telecoms, Petrochemical and Retail sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Programme, operate and maintain robotic welding machines.
  • Keep a clean and organised workspace, along with efficient management of libraries and backups of programs.
  • Inspect and ensure weld quality.
  • Perform and coordinate cell maintenance operations.
  • Test and validate robot programmes to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  • Identify and resolve programming issues.
  • Fine-tuning programs on real parts and creating new ones.
  • Offline programming via KUKASIM.
  • Train and assist other operators in basic robot operations and in solving minor day-to-day issues.
  • Ensure continuous improvement, creating JIGs to facilitate work and recommending design improvements to increase process automation.

Requirements

  • Experience programming industrial robots. Welding cells of KUKA robots preferred.
  • Welding expertise.
  • Experience with automated processes.
  • Experience with offline programming with KUKASIM or similar.
  • Experience with tool/JIG creation.
  • Ability to problem solve.
