Vanta Staffing in Slough have been given the opportunity to supply an LGV2 HIAB / grab driver to start as soon as possible with our client based in around Slough. As a driver, you will be representing the company first hand, by being at the forefront of their business. Therefore, the successful candidate will need excellent customer service understanding, paired with the ability and competency on the driving and operating side. Hardworking and dedicated Class 2 HIAB Driver with a can-do attitude, who is willing to learn new things.
Role:
- Operate Class 2 vehicles equipped with HIAB (Brick Grab + Remote) efficiently and safely.
- Deliver goods and materials to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Load and unload materials using the HIAB crane.
- You may be required to do London driving.
- Undertaking daily vehicle checks ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
- You will also require good communication and customer service skills, with an enthusiastic approach to all tasks.
To Be Successful:
- You will hold a minimum of 6 months experience as a Hiab Driver.
- You will hold a minimum Class 2 (Class C) license.
- No More Than 6 Penalty Points.
- You will ideally have previous experience delivering plant machinery and accessories to and from site.
- Strapping down experience is essential.
- Both hook and grab experience very ideal.
