My Client is looking for an experienced Supervisor/ Site Manager to lead the day-to-day maintenance operations at one of our key customer sites in Leeds. This is a critical role ensuring the continued efficiency and reliability of complex industrial systems and infrastructure.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing all maintenance activities on-site, including oversight of industrial boilers, refrigeration units, air handling systems, compressed air systems, and other essential plant and auxiliary equipment. Your leadership will be vital in supporting service delivery and maintaining high standards of safety, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with HSE and quality standards, including environmental incident reporting
- Conduct root cause analysis and fault investigations; implement engineering solutions
- Maintain inventory of essential spare parts and ensure accurate records in the CMMS
- Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, compressors)
- Carry out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Supervise contractors on site, ensuring performance aligns with agreed SLAs
- Act as the main point of contact for the customer on all maintenance matters
- Lead and implement site improvement and efficiency projects
About You:
- HNC/HND qualified (or equivalent certification from a recognised body)
- Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations
- NEBOSH qualification preferred
- In-depth understanding of plant operations and computer-based maintenance systems
- Significant experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within industrial environments such as power generation, petrochemical, or waste-to-energy sectors
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and pressure systems
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach to engineering challenges
- Confident using CMMS and general IT systems (email, spreadsheets, reporting tools)
