We are looking for an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecommunications (EIT) Engineering Team Leader to join a leading offshore engineering firm, specialising in minimum facility fixed platforms (unmanned/wellhead/satellite installations).

You will lead multi-discipline engineering projects, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and regulation compliant EIT systems across all design phases, from concept through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and oversee electrical systems (solar PV, battery, LV/HV distribution, Ex-rated equipment)
  • Develop control systems (WHCP, SIS, ESD, FGS) and instrumentation packages
  • Assist in telecoms design (SCADA, CCTV, VSAT, fibre, microwave)
  • Manage EIT deliverables, interface across disciplines, and support construction/FAT/SAT
  • Ensure full compliance with IEC, DSEAR/ATEX, and other offshore regulations
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive quality across the team
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with engineering software (e.g., ETAP)
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Proficiency in hazardous area design and functional safety standards
  • Collaborative approach across structural, process, and mechanical disciplines
  • HND or equivalent in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering (Essential)
  • Degree-qualified, Chartered Engineer (Desirable)
