We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven EE Account Director to lead sales efforts for Mobile Broadband (MBB), Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), and handset terminal devices. This role requires a deep understanding of the telecoms industry, strong relationships within the sector, and the ability to drive business growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Project and Resource Management
- Assist the Head of devices and MD in devising the sales plan based on market development for handsets, dongle, mifi, CPE etc.
- Manage sales staff expectation which is aligned to HQ and responsible to manage the daily activities.
- Promote the internal Marketing strategies and build local relationships and networks.
- Support the Sales with handsets to align that the products are put to market to the customers.
Relationship Building and Networking
- Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with management level in UK and China.
- Manage and co-ordinate work and activity of self and team (Commercial and Technical) to ensure alignment with common strategic objectives with the customers.
- Responsible for supporting the end to end implementation of sales within the devices and handsets area.
Reporting and Analysis
- Capture, record and report on key technical, demographic, environmental, market, economic and financial data / information, to support Head of devices and MD.
- Maintain the internal reporting framework and metrics to measure the success of business development opportunities with customers.
Essential Skills and Experience
- At least 10 years experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of operators and handsets/Mobile Broadband portfolios market place.
- Good contacts and network with the operator, service providers, channel partners mainly focusing on EE and UK top distributors.
- Preferable previously worked for TCL/ALCATEL and Zyxel.
- Good project management skills.
- Proven track record of business development and account management within large organizations.
- Pro-active customer focus.
- Self motivated.
- Target driven and result focused with a track record of delivering against objectives and business development targets.
- Excellent written reporting skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Experience of working with different cultures and managerial methodologies.
- Experience of managing in complex environments and working in virtual teams.
