The Opportunity
Our client is at the forefront of new technologies across multiple industries. They are currently searching for Senior C&I Engineers to join them on their Carbon Capture, Sustainable Fuels, and power station projects.
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000
These roles are offered on a full-time, permanent basis from our client’s office in Central London. Hybrid working is encouraged with 2 days being from home. You will also have the chance to enjoy a 9-day fortnight, with every other Friday off!
You must have full right to work in the UK, without requiring VISA sponsorship.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure engineering procedures and standards are being followed.
- Take a leading role in the production of various documentations, including:
- Basis of design
- Specifications
- Data sheets
- Technical bid evaluations
- Detailed discipline drawings
You Will Have the Following Qualifications & Experience
- A degree level engineering qualification with extensive and wide-ranging experience in design engineering and plant design work environment.
- Strong FEED and EPC knowledge.
- Capability in design, from first principles, of electrical infrastructure associated with petrochemical plant.
- Good experience of working on major FEED and EPC projects in the process industry.
- Experience of P&ID, HAZOPs, and SIL reviews.
- Experience working on multi-office/multi-site projects.
- Demonstrable background in working on UK Projects.
It’s Great If You Also Have the Following
- Understanding of hazardous area requirements, DSEAR, ATEX, IEC 60079, API RP 500 & 505, and IP Part 15.
- Strong understanding of all aspects of C&I Engineering and Design.
The Setting for the Role
Risks and Hazards are in line with working in an office. These can include display screen equipment, stress, manual handling, slips, trips and falls, fire and emergency, work equipment and electrical safety and temperature. A full induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the building.
