Class 1 Shunter Drivers Immediate Start (Leeds)

Pay Rates:

  • Weekdays: £16.50 per hour
  • Weeknights: £17.50 per hour
  • Weekend Days: £20.00 per hour
  • Weekend Nights: £21.00 per hour

Join the Recruit A Driver Team as a Class 1 Shunter Driver. We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Shunter Drivers for a Leeds-based client. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible, ad hoc shift work.

About the Role

  • Start Times:
  • Day shifts: 06:00 - 18:00
  • Night shifts: 18:00 - 06:00
  • Shifts: Various patterns available
  • Duties: Trailer shunting between depots in Leeds and Normanton
  • Type of Work: Trailer swaps only
  • Candidate Requirements:

    • Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence held for at least 12 months
    • Minimum 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience (12 months preferred)
    • No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
    • In-date CPC Qualification Card
    • In-date Digital Tachograph Card
    • Reliable, professional, and flexible to meet operational needs
