The opportunity

With the continuing and rapid development of tax technology solutions and in particular Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, it is necessary to enhance our operational models to achieve success in the future. In preparation for the future, EY Tax and Law have created a new “Centre of Excellence” (CoE) to support SaaS solutions throughout their lifecycle.

The objectives of the SaaS CoE are twofold:

• Operational management of Tax and Law SaaS solutions
• Sales enablement and support to drive the market success of these solutions

In joining the SaaS CoE you will have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of this new business unit, becoming deeply embedded in the operational management of the SaaS CoE and thus ensuring the smooth running of the technology solutions that it supports.

Your key responsibilities

• Support member firms with pursuits, demos, commercials, and technical meetings/queries on VAT Reporting, e-invoicing and tax determination.
• Act as the expert on the different indirect tax technology assets in the CoE to be the first point of contact for member firms.
• Work in collaboration with the product teams to ensure market requirements and client feedback are taken into account into the roadmap.
• Support member firms with training on how to position and demo different assets to clients.
• Be accountable for sales target, alongside the CoE Go-to-Market leader, and support CoE Leader in achieving overall CoE targets.
• Participation in the champions calls to highlight tool developments, address issues and share success stories.
• Work with SSL to set up Champions network.

Skills and attributes for success

We are looking for people with excellent communication abilities with relevant experience in a commercial position.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Strong organisational skills and management.
• Keen attention to detail and quality, holding yourself to a high standard of work.
• Confidence and maturity to work effectively with senior leaders across the Business Unit and beyond.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time, delivering within tight timeframes.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Familiarity of EY internal processes would be an advantage.
• Prior experience on other products would be helpful.

What we look for

• Undergraduate degree in a business or technology related discipline.
• 6+ years experience in a commercial role within a large global organization.
