Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Controller to join a regional house builder on one of their new schemes in Kent.
The Company:
A regional house builder that specialise in building luxury 2-5 bedroom homes in the South East of England. The development we are recruiting for is being built across 2 phases which will be running concurrently with a handover date of Summer 2028.
Duties:
- Working with a site based Project Manager and visiting Contracts Manager.
- Call off and scheduling build materials as per construction phase requirements.
- Raising materials requisitions with the buying team.
- Liaising with multiple internal departments such as construction, commercial and technical/design teams.
- Thorough monitoring and recording of materials delivered and signed out by construction and trades teams to minimise site losses and identify contra charges back to contractors.
- Manage and maintain all plant and equipment for the project.
- Management of project labour team.
- Ensure the site compound and materials are organised and maintained at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar or the same role within a construction setting is essential.
- CSCS Card is essential.
- First Aid would be an advantage but not essential.
