CCP have been engaged by a multi-award-winning and rapidly growing commercial insurance brokerage based in Rawtenstall who are looking to recruit a Commercial New Business Executive to grow their portfolio of commercial clients. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a highly motivated insurance professional who thrives in the field. While some time will be spent in the office, the primary focus of this role is to be out on the road - meeting prospective clients, attending networking events, and developing new business opportunities.
Our client is seeking a confident individual with the following key attributes:
- New Business Development: You will be responsible for growing a commercial book of business from an existing prospect bank, as well as sourcing and converting your own leads through networking, referrals, and outbound activity.
- Relationship Building & Client Management: You'll leverage your interpersonal skills to build strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of commercial and corporate insurance products and the Lloyd's market is essential, along with the ability to operate within FCA-regulated frameworks.
- Self-Starter Attitude: You'll be highly organised, comfortable working independently, and capable of managing your own pipeline and priorities to deliver consistent results.
- Communication & Decision-Making: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with the confidence to make decisions and represent the business at events, AGMs, and trade shows.
Desirable but not essential: Progression toward or completion of CII qualifications (Cert CII, Dip CII, or ACII).
