In the role of our Technical Manager within our Protective Coatings division, you will provide excellent technical support to our customers to ensure customer satisfaction and grow at Sherwin Williams, whilst managing the technical team at our Bolton site in Greater Manchester. In this role you will be accountable for:
- Direct management of the technical team
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing Sherwin Williams reputation in the market
- Providing support with highly complex technical enquiries
- Supporting sales leadership with claims and complex technical customer related business issues
- Ensure, measure and drive the following team behaviors:
- Ensures a professional and courteous response to enquiries in relation to technical questions on our product line in relation to technical aspects of a product or coatings specification
- Provide detailed technical specifications to satisfy customer needs
- Utilise Salesforce.com effectively for all enquiries feeding into projects
The skills and experience you will ideally have:
- Degree qualified ideally in a technical/engineering field
- AMPP Level 3 / ICORR Level 3 / FROSIO Level 3
- Experience in customer services
- Extensive Technical background in the protective coatings industry
- Customer focused
- Experience in a leadership role, training and coaching others
- Excellent communication skills
