We are seeking a skilled Container Traffic Operator with knowledge of TOPS to contribute to our dynamic operations team. Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate the movement of container traffic in line with operational schedules and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the TOPS (Terminal Operating System) platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams, hauliers, and external partners to ensure seamless container handling.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and operational standards.
- Proactively resolve operational issues, escalating when necessary.
- Foster clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders to support efficient operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within logistics or transport coordination.
- Proficiency in using TOPS or equivalent terminal operating systems. (very important)
- Experience in subcontractor management is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
