The Redline Group are seeking an experienced Contract FPGA Design Engineer - Lattice to work with our Cambridgeshire based customer on an exciting new conceptual venture. This role is based on site and could open up potential long-term work. A well-established business in their industry, our customer seeks to continually challenge what is possible in product development, always looking at new methods and ideas to help their customers realise their ambition. This role taps into that conceptual thinking, asking engineers to try to find a reality to the theory. If you are used to working in this environment, this could be a fantastic role for you.
The development focuses on using FPGAs to control the technology and respond to commands in real-time, operating faster and ultimately more efficiently.
Key Skills Required:- Proven experience of FPGA Design using Lattice FPGAs
- Experience of writing code in VHDL
- Experience of using test benches and performing simulations
Those who have experience in the life sciences/physics background would be of particular interest. This role will not accept candidates operating via a PSC; you will therefore need to operate via an Umbrella company.
