An exciting opportunity for a motivated Corporate Tax Senior Manager (advisory) has arisen in London, focused on delivering expert tax advisory services within the business services sector.
Our client is a well-regarded large organisation within the business services industry, with a nationwide presence. They pride themselves on their commitment to delivering high-quality tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
Working on a broad range of ad hoc tax consultancy assignments is a considerable part of the role. This may include reorganisations, R&D tax, share schemes, property hive ups, international tax etc.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and following these through with the Tax Partner and the relevant partners
- Overall responsibility for the compliance function for a portfolio of corporate tax clients. This includes:
- Preparation and review of corporation tax returns for a range of complex clients
- Monitoring tax return progress to ensure timely completion and submission to HMRC
- Advising corporate tax clients of tax liabilities due on a timely basis
- Liaising directly with clients to ensure both accurate and prompt completion of tax returns and submissions
- Communicating effectively with clients both orally and in writing
- Dealing with all client queries promptly and efficiently
- Reporting to the client partner on all matters relevant to the client's tax affairs
A successful Corporate Tax Senior Manager should have:
- Proven experience in corporate tax advisory
- CTA/ACA qualified
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of UK tax legislation
