A globally recognised media company is seeking a Senior International Employment Lawyer (8+ PQE) to join their legal team on a 10-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned employment law expert to step into a high-impact, strategic role.

Location: Hybrid (London-based)

Start Date: July 2025

You’ll be a trusted advisor on a broad range of international employment matters, working at the heart of the business. You will work closely with the Chief People Officer (CPO) and General Counsel, as well as senior stakeholders across HR and the wider organisation, to provide commercially astute, pragmatic legal advice in a fast-paced, people-driven environment.

The Role:

  • Advising on complex international employment law issues (both contentious and non-contentious)
  • Supporting global HR initiatives, policies, and projects
  • Advising on pensions and employee benefits issues
  • Providing immigration advice relating to employee mobility and global workforce planning
  • Managing risk and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Handling internal investigations, grievances, and disciplinary matters
  • Supporting restructuring projects and employment litigation where required

Ideal Candidate:

  • UK/ EU qualified solicitor with 8+ years' PQE in employment law
  • Strong international experience, particularly across EMEA and APAC regions
  • In-house experience within a global organisation
  • Comfortable working directly with senior leadership, including the CPO and GC
  • Pragmatic, commercially minded, and confident navigating cross-border employment issues
