Join as a Highways Engineer in our Transportation team. We work on projects of all sizes, scopes and scales, from the large M25 Project to the niche Human Drive. Our projects are bringing digitalisation to highways and transforming the way people live and work. And you’ll be part of these collaborative design teams based across the country and the world. It’s an exciting era for UK highways, with the rise of intelligent networks, autonomous technology and mobility as a service. To lead in emerging areas that interest you, all you need to do is speak up and take the initiative.
Your purpose:
You will support our growing Active Travel delivery in:
- Solving complex engineering problems.
- Project and work package management.
- Winning work including by preparing bids and tenders.
- Supporting business development by establishing, maintaining and developing relationships with existing and prospective internal and external clients.
- Identify and respond to project commercial risks and opportunities.
- Production of task briefs / methodologies, fee proposals, resourcing schedules and project plans for active travel projects.
- Managing technical projects as technical lead or technical reviewer with responsibility for high quality project deliverables.
- Assisting with coaching and training of technical delivery staff.
- Managing stakeholder consultation processes as required.
