My client is a well established family owned manufacturing business and they are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant to oversee all day to day finance operations for the business. Working closely with the FD you will manage a finance team of 3 and will be expected to provide timely and accurate monthly reports, oversee all transactional processing, manage the month close process, ensuring effective cut off processes are in place and providing accurate balance sheets recs will be expected.
This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures and ensuring compliance within regulatory requirements.
- Experience required:
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience of managing, developing, and leading a team.
- Experience of monthly management accounting and analysis.
- Experience of managing multi-level relationships within the business.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Experience of process improvement, including through use of IT.
- Involvement on a system implementation project would be desirable.
