Finance Manager – Property

A boutique, entrepreneurial, and best-in-class real estate investment and development business is recruiting a Finance Manager. This role will work closely with an experienced team and founding partners who have a successful track record of consistently delivering strong risk-adjusted returns in UK property investment and development.

This Finance Manager (Property) role will be responsible for the financial accounting and performance reporting for their rapidly growing property portfolio. The role will suit a highly organised, diligent individual looking to further their career in real estate finance.

This Finance Manager (Property) role will be responsible for:

  1. Responsible for monthly financial reporting to the shareholders
  2. Maintenance and review of Propco Holdco structures including review of bookkeeping, monthly reporting and statutory annual accounts
  3. Accounting for both investment and development properties
  4. Help to shape the controls and processes of the finance function
  5. Manage the external auditors during the year end process
  6. Review of year end corporation tax returns
  7. Review of monthly VAT returns for the group
  8. Bank debt covenant reporting and assisting with debt origination for new projects
  9. Assist with tax structuring for new projects
  10. Corporate Finance Responsibilities – assisting with new acquisitions (tax and financial due diligence, review of investment appraisals)
  11. Financial management of operational assets – liaising with operators and administrators
  12. Day-to-day management of two team members, including coaching and development
