We are currently looking for a Polish or German speaking Operations Executive on behalf of one of our clients who works in Logistics and Supply Chain. This is a remote role and the position is permanent, however, candidates must be aware that if they are successful they will technically be self employed and the client will pay through invoicing every two weeks. The full details of this will be explained during the interview process. Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK and the salary is £45000-50000 depending on experience. The client is looking for candidates who can speak Polish or German and have 2-3 years of experience in Freight or Logistics. They must also be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of import and export procedures in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full shipment cycle for their B2B client base. Maintaining constant communication with customers and carriers is essential in this role. Other languages such as French or Italian would be an asset. Responsibilities: Handle documentation of international shipments via air, road and ocean. Maintain constant communication with customers and suppliers. Update the company database accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all invoicing from suppliers complies with company terms and price limits. Ensure customer satisfaction and the highest level of customer service. What we’re looking for: Native level of Polish or German 2-3 years of experience in an international logistics role. Demonstrable understanding of European import and export procedures.
