We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Leeds, a category B Prison located in Gloucester Terrace in the Armley area of Leeds, West Yorkshire. We have a supportive and welcoming team of around 25 in the Pharmacy department.

Hours
Monday to Sunday, 07:00 to 16:00. This position is part-time, working 22.5 hours per week.
Salary
Annual salary up to £40,211 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Requirements
Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Employment offers are subject to vetting and security checks due to the role\’s nature.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care, listening to and acting on patient feedback to ensure personalized care.
- Maintain a safe medicines management service, ensuring accurate patient records and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Deliver non-judgemental care within professional standards, including timely administration of medicines and analyzing cost-effective prescribing policies.
- Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, making a real difference.

Requirements
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Up-to-date CPD
- Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently following policies and procedures
Experience in hospital, community, or prison environments is desirable but not essential.
