Job Description
Health and Safety Consultant CDM Principal Designer required by a multi-disc consultancy to join their team in Oxford. You will work individually and as part of a team to provide construction health and safety services to internal and external clients, as well as fulfilling the role of CDM Advisor/Principal Designer, ensuring compliance of the duties of the CDM regulations.\\n\\nSectors include Commercial, Education and Housing.\\n\\nDuties include:\\n\\n * Ensuring clients are aware of their duties.\\n\\n * Responsibility for managing your own projects\\n\\n * Providing CDM advice and support to Client Teams.\\n\\n * Managing the pre-construction phase, including preparation and collation of pre-construction information.\\n\\n * Attending Design and Project Meetings as required throughout projects.\\n\\n * Carrying out CDM site inspections/compliance audits on construction sites.\\n\\n * Reviewing Construction Phase Plans.\\n\\n * Undertaking site Health and Safety reviews and producing reports for Clients.\\n\\n * Working to deadlines ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget.\\n\\n * Supporting team members.\\n\\nExperience\\n\\n * Demonstrate practical experience of the design and construction process.\\n\\n * Experience of overseeing the design risk management process.\\n\\n * Thorough understanding of the CDM 2015 Regulations and the design and construction process.\\n\\nQualifications\\n\\n * AaPS and/or TechIOSH\\n\\n * Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a construction related subject with at least 3 years post qualification experience\\n\\nThe company is offering £50k – £60k plus healthcare, life assurance, company car scheme and more
