THE ROLE
Due to growing demand and commercial success, there is a key opportunity for a highly capable engineer to take ownership of an expanding portfolio of current products. These systems are typically customised to client needs, offering a technically varied and impactful role. You will collaborate across functions and take part in the full product lifecycle, from design to delivery, with significant opportunity for progression. This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary engineering role requiring regular interaction across internal teams and external stakeholders.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are seeking academically strong candidates, with a degree in mechanical, electrical or systems engineering from a top-tier university. A strong academic foundation is essential, as is the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world design challenges in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership of mechanical design for current products and coordinate with electrical/control systems teams to drive delivery.
- Work with commercial and engineering leads to configure client-specific solutions, estimate scope, and manage execution.
- Manage BoMs, ensuring timely updates and accurate documentation.
- Provide hands-on design support to manufacturing, quality, procurement, test, and support teams.
- Identify and implement improvements in tooling, build processes, and product features.
- Lead or support design reviews, FMEAs, risk assessments, and validation activities.
- Continuously develop and improve product designs to enhance performance, aesthetics, cost-effectiveness, and customisation.
LOCATION
This is a predominantly on-site role at a high-specification technical facility west of Bristol. You will need to be regularly available in build, test, and demonstration areas, with occasional travel to customer and supplier locations, both in the UK and internationally.
