We are currently recruiting GDC Registered Dental Nurses to join our agency.
Marylebone Services supply dental staff to a huge variety of dental practices (Private, NHS, mixed and specialist) on a temporary basis in London, Greater London and surrounding areas.
You can pick the locations you want to work on the days that suit you! You tell us the days you are available for work and we offer you shifts that come in and around your preferred areas. Full days, half days and weekends shifts available.
Flexible around your life, whether you can work all week or just a few days to suit your lifestyle. Full-time, part-time or ad-hoc shifts available. No minimum shifts required each month. This is a perfect opportunity to work the days and hours that meet your requirements and lifestyle.

Duties:
- Assist dentists and other dental professionals during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas according to health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Record patient medical history.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Develop dental x-rays.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, fostering a positive environment within the practice.
Requirements:
- GDC Registered.
- Minimum 1 year experience as dental nurse.
- Experienced in providing chair side and patient assistance, charting, decontamination and sterilisation of instruments/equipment and assisting with general dental procedures as a minimum.
- Excellent knowledge of dental procedures, instruments and materials.
- Excellent cross-infection control management.
- Proficient in using dental software.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent communication – verbal and written.
- Friendly and welcoming to patients.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Great time keeping skills.
- Adapt quickly in different work environments.
- Right to work in UK.

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse in UK is required and Registration on the GDC is essential.
Compliance checks will be carried out which will include: DBS, Immunization Record, Hepatitis B Immunisation, Indemnity Insurance, GDC Certificate, Basic Life Support and Medical Emergencies Certificate, Safeguarding Level 2 Certificate, ID (Passport), Right to work in UK and References. Assistance can be given should you not have any of the above documents.
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Temporary.
Salary: Monday to Friday: £14.50-£15.50/h plus holiday pay. Weekend: £15-£16.50/h plus holiday pay.
