Assistant Project Manager – Retail Architecture

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience

A London-based architecture project management practice, specialising in luxury retail fit-outs, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support the smooth delivery of high-end architectural and interior projects.

The Role:

This is a key supporting role working closely with Project Managers to coordinate workflows, manage documentation, track budgets and schedules, and ensure efficient communication between all project stakeholders. You’ll be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations, handling everything from consultant onboarding and procurement support to managing the Building Control process and preparing project reports.

What They’re Looking For:

• A strong communicator with meticulous attention to detail
• Solid understanding of RIBA stages and the UK construction process
• At least 2 years’ experience in project coordination or admin, ideally within architecture, interiors, or construction
• Proficiency in project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project etc.)
• Experience with luxury retail environments is a major advantage
