A bit about what you will do:

The Gym & Leisure Manager will oversee all aspects of our state-of-the-art fitness and leisure facilities, including the gym, group training areas, outdoor gym, paddle, and tennis courts. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team, ensuring exceptional service for both hotel guests and spa members. This role includes managing all personal training sessions and membership classes to deliver a world-class wellness experience. Your expertise will be key to maintaining high standards, driving membership engagement, and fostering a vibrant, motivating environment.

  • Manage all gym, group training areas, outdoor gym, paddle, and tennis facilities, ensuring seamless operation and exceptional guest/member experience.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the wellness team to deliver personal training, membership classes, and wellness programs aligned with brand standards.
  • Conduct health and fitness assessments and create tailored wellness pathways for members and guests.
  • Oversee membership retention initiatives, including consultations, follow-up programs, and engagement strategies.
  • Act as Duty Manager, overseeing daily spa and leisure operations, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Studio Coordinator to curate dynamic group exercise timetables across indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Support marketing and strategic partnerships to enhance guest awareness and engagement.

More about you:

  • REPs or CIMSPA Level 2 Fitness Qualification or higher, with Level 3 Personal Trainer certification highly desirable.
  • At least 3 years experience in fitness or wellness, preferably within luxury 5-star hotel environments, with proven team leadership skills.
  • Competent in delivering one-to-one instruction, group fitness classes, health assessments (PAR-Q), and client consultations.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to build rapport and motivate both guests and team members.
  • Flexible to work varied shifts; First Aid qualification and polished, professional appearance are assets.
