We are looking for a confident and organised individual, with experience in either an office-based or field-based sales environment, to become a Key Account Executive covering Key Accounts across Spain, Canary Islands and Balearic Islands. This position requires you to work with a wide range of market sectors including Retail (including Grocery, Fuel, Quick Service Restaurants) and Industry, alongside Distributors.

The role will be to manage key accounts via their Head Office. These accounts will be organisations with multiple outlets and therefore a high level of demand for our products. The role will be to develop sales to these existing customers by broadening the range of products they buy from us, including designing bespoke solutions.

The position is office-based at our London Showroom and professional written and verbal Spanish language skills are essential for this role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Handling significant sales enquiries produced from our extensive marketing programme and self-generated by the Key Account Executive.
  2. Maintaining contact with existing key accounts at head office level to develop accounts.
  3. Prospecting current non-user key accounts.
  4. Maintaining and encouraging a network of distributors to drive business growth.
  5. Online demonstration of products via video.
  6. Identifying customer needs and articulating informed solutions.
  7. Assisting in developing new concepts and bringing new products to market.
  8. Being a credible and trusted source of industry and product information for customers.
  9. Interpreting sales reports and identifying market and product opportunities.
  10. Participating in team sales meetings and sharing product/market knowledge beneficial to the rest of the team.

Ideal Candidate Background:

  1. Fluent in Spanish (essential) and English (proficient).
  2. Have a genuine desire to grow sales.
  3. Commercially aware.
  4. Formally sales trained.
  5. Experience of face-to-face meetings with professional buyers.
  6. Experience of demonstrating products by video.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Good administrative, organisational and time management skills.
  9. A high level of self-motivation.
