A well-established and innovative manufacturing business is looking for a commercially focused Pricing Analyst to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will support the Sales Manager and wider commercial team in driving data-led pricing decisions and improving profitability across a diverse product portfolio.
Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and commercial awareness to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role in developing pricing strategies, analysing market trends, and ensuring pricing models reflect both operational costs and customer value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and sales team to analyse pricing performance and support pricing decisions.
- Develop and refine pricing models using input from raw material costs, labour, overheads, and market conditions.
- Evaluate competitor pricing and customer trends to inform commercial strategy.
- Create clear, actionable pricing reports and dashboards.
- Support the roll out and tracking of pricing changes across systems and teams.
About You:
- Experience in pricing, commercial analysis, or finance—ideally in a manufacturing or B2B setting.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Self-starter who can adapt quickly in a fixed-term, goal-oriented role.
