Marks Sattin is delighted to be working with a well-established business based in Barton-Upon-Humber, currently seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Our client is looking for a candidate who has some transactional experience and would like to progress their career into management accounting. They will also offer AAT/ACCA/CIMA study support. For this role they will pay up to Β£26,000 and offer hybrid working upon completion of training.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Management Accountant in preparing monthly management accounts and analysing the general ledger.
- Produce and distribute monthly sales reports to key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary contact for branch-level queries related to management accounts.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and process intercompany recharges.
- Assist with KPI reporting and analysis of expense invoices.
- Provide holiday cover across the wider management accounts team.
- Publish daily performance reports (League Tables) to the wider business.
- Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc finance projects.
- Provide assistance and cover for both purchase and sales ledger functions when required.
